The week before fashion week, I realized I had nothing to wear. Panicked, I ordered a bunch of things online hoping something would work out. My packages didn’t come until the night before we left for NYC…meaning I literally hadn’t tried anything on before hopping on the plane. (#procrastination) Luckily, this white crop top and this Alice & Olivia skirt were two of the pieces from my last minute orders that worked out…phew!

I wore this ensemble to the Kate Spade Spring 2015 Presentation. I have to say, this outfit was a crowd pleaser! I’m in love with this crop top by Viva Aviva and I may have to order it in some of the other fall plaid patterns. I also love it in gray!

PS – I may be the only one who cares about this, but I also love that the fabric didn’t get too wrinkled in my suitcase – I didn’t even have to steam or iron before wearing! The ruffles are also lined with a mesh material, which I believe helps them to keep their shape. I’m always a little hesitant to order from designers I’m unfamiliar with, but overall, I was impressed! (Of course, I think it goes without saying that anything Alice and Olivia is a safe bet when it comes to quality.)
